Built with data protection at its core, this camera relies on Axis Edge Vault—a hardware-based cybersecurity platform—to shield the device and block unauthorized access. It includes FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified secure cryptographic key storage and execution for enterprise-grade protection. Operational status is clear thanks to a tally LED indicating active recording or streaming. To protect identity during remote monitoring, it utilizes AXIS Live Privacy Shield alongside an integrated pencil privacy filter for discreet image capture. For temporary physical coverage, the AXIS TM1903 Privacy Cover is available as an optional accessory.

AI-Powered Edge Analytics

The AXIS M1075-L Mk II features an onboard Deep Learning Processing Unit (DLPU) capable of executing advanced analytics directly on the device. Preinstalled with AXIS Object Analytics, the camera automatically detects, tracks, and counts people. It also incorporates AXIS Audio Analytics to recognize distinct sound events—such as glass breaking, screams, shouts, spoken voice, and coughing fits—and trigger immediate alerts. Metadata produced by these analytic tools can be collected and displayed on centralized dashboards for operational intelligence.

Extended Capabilities and Hardware

This compact device supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) and features USB and I/O ports for adding an optional Wi-Fi dongle. The I/O port also enables integration with external hardware, such as emergency panic buttons, making it well-suited for healthcare facilities and small retail environments. A wide 103° field of view allows full corner-to-corner coverage. Clear two-way audio is enabled via built-in dual microphones, an integrated speaker, and Voice Enhancer technology. For round-the-clock surveillance, the IR-corrected lens delivers clear video day and night, an onboard passive infrared (PIR) sensor detects motion in complete darkness, and an HDMI output allows direct streaming to public viewing monitors.
