Schneider-Kreuznach PYRITE LF series features highly versatile liquid lenses designed for a wide range of universal industrial applications. These lenses uniquely combine a proven Schneider-Kreuznach optical design with an integrated Optotune focus tunable lens, enabling incredibly fast focus adjustments within milliseconds. They are available in 60 mm and 80 mm focal lengths with an F4.0 initial aperture, and support large sensor sizes up to 2 inches (36 mm), depending on the specific model. To accommodate various system requirements, they are offered in both standard C-Mount and TFL-Mount configurations. While optimized for a working distance starting from infinity out of the box, the PYRITE LF lenses can be paired with various extension tubes (ranging from 5 mm up to 30 mm) to achieve a massive range of closer working distances while keeping the liquid focus element in its optimal operating zone. Built for durability, the series is rigorously tested to DIN ISO 9022 standards to withstand extreme temperature cycling (-25°C to +70°C), damp heat, 50g shocks, and sinusoidal vibrations. Because of their rapid focusing capabilities, large image circles, and robust environmental resilience, these lenses are highly effective for dynamic machine vision tasks, particularly high-speed parcel sorting, automated food sorting, and rapid barcode scanning.
