The uEye XC is an autofocus industrial camera featuring UVC protocol for webcam-like plug-and-play operation. Designed specifically for demanding environments, it delivers sharp images and video under changing light conditions using integrated features like digital zoom, auto white balance, and color correction. It excels in kiosk systems, quality assurance, logistics automation, and medical technology.

The comprehensive uEye XC Starter Kit includes the camera—powered by an onsemi AR1335 color sensor—along with a tripod, cable, and macro lens. By reducing the minimum object distance, the included macro lens enables high-precision performance in close-range applications.

 

*UVC is Universal vision class meaning you use the pre-installed windows drivers instead of an IDS SDK. This is good for bare minimum functionality requirements ie “webcam” use, but full functionality is accessible with the U3 version.
